Thai Food Recipe: Goong Pad Prig Thai

12 big shrimp
1 group scallion (cut 1 inch long)

1/4 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. olive oil

Cooking Instructions:

1. Cook shrimp and shitake mushrooms in boiling water. Drain it and leave in a bowl.

Note by Joy’s husband…

MMM! This one was very good. The shitake mushrooms taste like portabella mushrooms that I used to have back in the states. The black pepper was a nice touch because usually here in Thailand we don’t have black pepper to spice up our meal – it’s always the red or green chilis or the dried red pepper.

I will ask her to make this one again sometime soon – it was excellent with rice. Thai food is best!
: )

Oh – here is another site that that is focused only on shrimp recipes – if you really like shrimp >
