Thai Food Recipe: Goong Pad Nam Makham

(Stir-Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce)

Goong Pad Nam Makham (Stir-Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce)

Prepare:

1 cup shrimp (peeled, de-veined and cooked)
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. palm sugar
2 tbsp. fish sauce
1 tbsp. tamarind juice (non-dried ripe tamarind+ hot water)
2 tbsp. fried sliced red onion
¼ cup soup stock
1 chili pepper (cut diagonally)
¼ cup coriander leaves
2 tbsp. oil


Cooking Instruction:

  1. Put oil in the hot pan. Throw garlic and stir until it turn a little yellow.

  1. Add sugar, fish sauce, tamarind juice and stock.

  1. Put shrimp and turn off the fire.

Put it on the plate and dress with fried sliced red onion, peppers and coriander leaves.
